| 1 -To determine Simple configuration analysis |
Ludovic provides a complete analysis of the twin screw configuration given by the user
Ex : Modelling of a complete BC21 twin screw extruder with converging plate die and classic screw design. Rotation speed, flow rate and temperature are given by the user.

The Results obtained with Ludovic : pressure, temperature, viscosity, shear rate...
The opposite results present the sharing out of the energy during the twin screw extrusion process and the Residence Time Distribution.

| 2 -To check a functioning domain |
From a simple configuration (see 1), Ludovic determines the functionning domain of the modelled twin screw extruder. This experimental plan checks all the values of extrusion conditions to determine the best parameters set.
Ex : Using Ludovic to tune parameters in order to improve the Residence Time Distribution
Ex : Set up of new material. Which are the trends of the process (higher temperature or viscosity...)?
The Results obtained with Ludovic : display of all potential variations of each parameter (speed, pressure, flow rate...) on a configuration given by the user
The opposite results present the process variation according to 3 parameters : flow rate, screw rotation speed and Residence Time Distribution variance

| 3 - To Optimize the twin screw extrusion process |
Ludovic provides the 5 best configurations according to parameters chosen by the user
Ex : To obtain a wished pressure or temperature. Ludovic will change the other parameters to get the pressure or temperature values chosen by the user
Ex : To minimize the energy consumption. Ludovic will respect the power imposed by the user to detemine the best process configuration
