Numerical simulation of a tank filling with a very low viscous material

Module 1 : a theoretical training on the CEMEF site (two consecutive days)

• DAY 1 - Complex materials and complex phenomenology : mechanisms and principles (animated by the CEMEF team)
• DAY 2 - Transfer of this phenomenology in a numerical environment : examples of applications within the XimeX software (animated by the SCC team)

Module 2 : a dedicated training on the XimeX use (two consecutive days)

It consists in getting in the real customer applications for bringing the adatapted tools and methodology for simulating the processes/applications with XimeX.

This training on the XimeX software is aimed at putting into practice the knowledge presented during the first module course and apply it on user specific topics.

During this training, the main addressed topics are :

• the XimeX software deployment
• the basis use of the XimeX software
• computing the material flow with XimeX
• Quantifying the mixing efficiency with the particles analysis
• post-analysing the results
• how to use them for improving the process/product quality

At the end of the course, attendees will be provided with a temporary license of the XimeX software.
